Short bio
Masato Asahara was born in 1982. He received his B.E. degree from The Univ. of Electro-communications in 2005, M.E. degree and Ph.D. degree from Keio Univ. in 2007 and 2011, respectively (Supervisor: Associate Professor Kenji Kono). He joined NEC in 2010 and worked at NEC Green Platform Research Labs. He currently works at a branch office of NEC Knowledge Discovery Research Laboratories in Cupertino, CA. He has been a visiting researcher at Keio University since 2011. His research interests include cloud computing, Peer-to-Peer systems, distributed systems, middleware and operating systems.
